Management

Allen Murdock, Giant Clam

Yes, that's his official title. Seen here in a self portrait taken while working on a web site. The kitten's name is Axel, which is swedish for shoulder.

Allen started CLAMCO in late 2001. He meets with prospective clients to assess their needs, writes proposals, and does a lot of the HTML and CSS coding for our web projects.

Allen Murdock has over sixteen years of experience in computer hardware and software, networking, technical consulting, project management and personnel management.  He has worked on major projects for some of the largest companies in the world, including American Express, Allied Signal (now merged with Honeywell) and Time Warner, but it hasn’t gone to his head.

Mr. Murdock started his network consulting career with Digital Network Associates, a systems integration company located on Wall Street in New York City.  Beginning as a Network Systems Engineer, he eventually became the Director of Systems Integration Services.  From there he moved on to Predictive Systems, Inc., also based in New York. While working for only these two companies throughout the 1990s, Murdock successfully completed projects for clients in the financial, insurance, publishing, and data communications industries.

Before starting CLAMCO, Murdock was Regional Director for Network Design and Engineering at Predictive Systems, Inc.  As Regional Director, he was responsible for all aspects of the delivery of Network Design and Engineering services in the Western Region, from before the sale to the end of each project and beyond.

Allen has received technical certifications from Novell, Microsoft, IBM, Compaq, Apple, and Epson.
